Operator guide.
The full guide is installed with the application and works offline. This page is the short version, plus where to find the long one.
Offline Help Center
It is already on the machine.
Open Help → Help Center in Measuret. The guide is installed alongside the application, so it works on a shop-floor machine with no internet connection — which is where it is usually needed.
If the Help Center reports that it is unavailable, the installation is incomplete and should be repaired. Ask us if a repair does not restore it.

The short version
Measuring a part, start to finish.
If you do these in order, the report at the end will make sense to somebody who was not there.
- Set up the optics and light the part. Focus properly. A silhouette against a backlight gives the cleanest edges; a shiny face lit from the front gives the worst.
- Calibrate, or select the saved calibration for the objective you are using, on the Help tab. Confirm the part is at the same height as the artefact the calibration came from.
- Capture or import the image. From the Main tab.
- Load the pattern, if this part has one, from Measurement → Pattern.
- Draw any reference geometry you need — edges, guides, datums, offset guides — before measuring against them.
- Arm a row and measure it. Double-click the row, take the measurement with the right tool, and the checklist records it and moves on.
- Turn the scale bar on from the Display group, so the image stays interpretable after it leaves your screen.
- Open Report Settings, fill in the part and test information, choose your columns, and export to Excel or PDF.
- Save a copy where your quality system keeps it, once you have looked at the report.
Exporting a report never changes or clears anything on the image, so you can regenerate with different columns as many times as you like. Reports open straight away rather than asking for a filename first — you cannot judge a report before you have seen it.
